KikeTele Presents Kike Talks Edition One on Sex: Consent and Power

KikeTalks Edition 1
KikeTele is a women-centric organization whose goal is to collect, tell and share African women’s stories, particularly Kenyan women, encouraging the formation of a community of
women that can instigate change.  This is encapsulated in our motto: Community | Conversation | Change. We are proud to present Kike Talks,  a monthly forum that focuses on cultivating conversations about women by women.

The forum is a two hour salon style event and is open to women only in a bid to create a safe space where women are free to grapple with issues that affect them. Every Kike Talks will
have a different theme or topic of conversation. The idea is to have one or two experts of the subject matter at hand in case there are any difficult questions that need to be answered, but
generally to have the forum as open as possible to encourage as many of the participants to share their opinions and thoughts on the topic of the day.

The first edition of Kike Talks is set to take place on 19th September 2015 from 3pm to 5pm at Soul Food Café which is at Liaison House (State House Avenue).

The topic of discussion will be Sex: Consent and Power and is set to be an interesting discussion. Kindly RSVP via email to thekiketele@gmail.com or via Facebook.

Kike Tele is an initiative that seeks to tell stories by and for African women with the aim to spark constructive conversations and inspire positive change.
